Trust me — you will be a hero when you make Sugared Peppered Bacon for your family and friends. I’ve been making this for several years for our family Christmas Eve brunch and the office holiday breakfast, and each year I get a special request for a repeat performance. It’s so simple to make, but beware, it disappears quickly!
Tips: You can also use thick-cut peppered bacon from the butcher counter at Fresh Market, but just leave out the pepper in the coating mixture. Be sure to use better quality bacon for the best results.
