STEP 1: Caramelize the onions.

STEP 2:  Add red wine and simmer.

STEP 3:  Sprinkle flour over the onions.

STEP 4: Add beef broth and cook 10 minutes.

STEP 5: Slice and toast the baguette.

STEP 6: Ladle soup into oven safe bowls and top with bread & cheese.

STEP 7: Broil until cheese is bubbly and melted.
