HOW TO

MAKE:

1 | Preheat the oven to 425 degrees

2 | Cream together butter, vegetable oil, and sugars 

3 | Gently stir in eggs, baking powder, baking soda, salt, & vanilla

4 | Slowly add flour and milk 

5 |  Divide the batter, add bacon pieces in the center, & drizzle with syrup.

TIPS

To avoid sticking, lightly coat the muffin pan with non-stick cooking spray and insert a paper cupcake liner.

 To evenly divide the bacon, use a half slice of bacon per muffin.

The maple powdered sugar glaze is much easier to spread on the muffins if they are still a bit warm

Bacon baked right into the batter and crumbled on top of the glazed muffins give them a salty, savory taste that balances out the maple syrup-infused glaze. Trust me, these sweet and savory muffins get rave reviews every time!
