For a tasty dinner, garden fresh bell peppers packed to the brim with lean ground beef, rice, and aromatic spices cook up quickly as can be, in your air fryer.
Sweet Bell Peppers White or Brown Rice Olive Oil Onion | Garlic Ground Beef | Salt Italian Seasoning | Tomato Paste Diced Tomatoes Worcestershire Sauce Cheddar Cheese Parsley or Green Onions
Preheat the air fryer and prep the peppers. Chop the tops & reserve. Place the whole peppers in the air fryer cut side up. Cook for 6 minutes. In the meantime, cook the rice according to the package directions.
Cook the onions, peppers, and garlic until tender. Crumble the ground beef into the skillet. Stirring occasionally, cook until beef is no longer pink.
Add the salt, Italian seasoning, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, & the cooked rice. Cook until most of the liquid is reduced. Spoon the meat mixture into the bell peppers. Cook in the air fryer for 5 minutes.
Sprinkle cheese on top & cook for 3 more minutes, until the peppers are tender & cheese is melted. If desired, garnish with chopped fresh parsley or sliced green onions & serve.
