Step 1

Cook the ground beef. Add the beef to a Dutch oven over medium heat along with the onions, bell pepper, and fresh garlic.

Prep the tomatoes. Blend the canned tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, and water together.

Add the seasoning. Add the tomatoes to the browned meat. Then, sprinkle in the remaining spices.

Boil and simmer. Bring the mixture to a boil. Then, reduce to low heat and simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally.
