Prep the Ingredients
Scrub the potatoes to remove dirt and grit, and dry them thoroughly with paper towels. Then, cut the potatoes into 1/4-inch slices.
Brown the potatoes
Add the sliced raw potatoes and cook for 2 to 3 minutes, until they begin to lightly brown on the bottom —
do not stir or flip.
Reduce the heat to low and cover the potatoes, then flip the potatoes and add seasoning and butter.
Cook until golden and soft
Lastly, add the onions and cook for another couple of minutes until they are soft.
Serve your crispy pan-fried potatoes sizzling and fresh from the pan!
