Recipe Success Tips
How to make Edible Brownie Batter Dip
Creamy brownie batter dip is made with boxed brownie mix that is heat-proofed before being added to the recipe, making it safe to consume — And consume, you will! It’s irresistible!
STEP 1 | Heatproof brownie mix
First, heat-proof the brownie mix to make the raw flour safe to consume in this no-bake recipe. Pour the brownie mix into a large microwave-safe bowl and heat on high for 1 minute and 30 seconds, stirring every 30 seconds, until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. Then, let it cool completely.
STEP 2 | Whip the cream
While the brownie mix is cooling, whip the cream. Using a hand mixer with the whisk attachment, beat the heavy cream and powdered sugar together in a medium bowl until stiff peaks form.
STEP 3 | Make the cream cheese mixture
In another large bowl, cream together the softened cream cheese, peanut butter, and vanilla extract until it is smooth.
STEP 4 | Combine all dip ingredients
Add in the cooled box of brownie mix and powdered sugar, mixing on low speed until you no longer see dry ingredients. Then, add the whipped cream and mix on low speed until you have a creamy texture.
STEP 5 | Garnish and serve!
Spoon the dip into a serving bowl and garnish with the mini chocolate chips. Then, serve with fresh fruit, like strawberries or apples, cookies, and pretzels!

Boxed brownie mix is safe to eat after it has been correctly treated. Just heat the mix to 165°F, using a cooking thermometer to check the temperature. Bake or heat it in 30-second bursts in the microwave.
