Ingredient Notes

  • Brownie Mix | Grab your favorite box of fudge brownie mix. If preferred, use homemade brownie mix instead.
  • Homemade whipped cream | Combine heavy cream and powdered sugar to make whipped cream, which will add fluffiness to the dessert dip.
  • Cream cheese | Use full-fat cream cheese softened for easy mixing and maximum creamy flavor!
  • Peanut Butter | I also like to add a salty-sweet peanut butter flavor by adding a couple of spoonfuls. You can use crunchy or smooth peanut butter, depending on your preference.
  • Vanilla | Add depth to the creamy notes with vanilla extract.
  • Mini chocolate chips | Sprinkle mini semi-sweet chocolate chips for garnish.
  • Dippers | Serve with your favorite variety of dippers, like strawberries, apple slices, and other fresh fruit, chocolate chip cookies, nilla wafers, pretzels, and graham crackers.

How to make Edible Brownie Batter Dip

Creamy brownie batter dip is made with boxed brownie mix that is heat-proofed before being added to the recipe, making it safe to consume — And consume, you will! It’s irresistible!

STEP 1 | Heatproof brownie mix

First, heat-proof the brownie mix to make the raw flour safe to consume in this no-bake recipe. Pour the brownie mix into a large microwave-safe bowl and heat on high for 1 minute and 30 seconds, stirring every 30 seconds, until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. Then, let it cool completely.

STEP 2 | Whip the cream

While the brownie mix is cooling, whip the cream. Using a hand mixer with the whisk attachment, beat the heavy cream and powdered sugar together in a medium bowl until stiff peaks form.
