How to bake Chocolate Chip Cookies with the Homemade Mix 

STEP 1 | Preheat the oven

First, preheat the oven to 375 degrees F and set out a couple of cookie sheets.

STEP 2 | Combine wet ingredients with the cookie mix

Ingredients
  

Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix

  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¾ teaspoon salt

  • ¾ cup light brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar

For making cookies:

  • 12 tablespoons unsalted butter softened
  • ¾ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Spoon the mixture into a quart mason jar and tamp down.
  • Add the chocolate chips on top of the flour. Then, add the brown sugar and tamp down the ingredients once again. Lastly, add the sugar and cover with a tight-fitting lid.
  • If desired, decorate the jar with a fabric top and ribbon and attach printed instructions for using the mix to make a batch of cookies.
